Dr. Liu's Blog

Thank you for visiting my blog. Eyes Wide Open Productions Multimedia Outreach (EWOP) will frequently post new interviews with inspiring people telling their stories. We believe telling stories is an affirmation of ourselves, but that it is just as important for you to be our audience. I know you will enjoy getting to know us whether you live here on Kaua’i or are somewhere else on planet Earth. We welcome your thoughts and questions.
This is my first video blog. I couldn’t have had a more friendly and inspiring person than Ray Charron to talk story with on my first on-camera interview. Kaua’i doesn’t have art museums like there are on O’ahu or elsewhere in the world. Ray welcomes you to come in and look a the range of techniques employed by excellent Hawaii-based artists to express life in the islands.
Somehow, I have made it to my mid-60s and still haven’t gotten a tattoo or driven a motorcycle. Maybe I will someday. In the meantime, I’m vicariously experiencing both by getting to know Moon Lake. EWOP Director, Mel Bell-Grey has edited together a brilliant video about Moon and his inspiring life here on Kaua’i.
It was a great joy to observe Sire McClennahan Fromboluti’s dance class at the Kaua’i Athletic Center in Lihue. You will see the high energy of his choreography and teaching, and the enthusiastic response of his students.
